Pastor Deborah Mingo Palmer  
. . . . .Pastor Deborah Mingo Palmer is a native of Columbia, MS. She is the oldest of 6 children. Pastor Palmer is a graduate of Jackson State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She received a Master's of Arts & Religion and a Master's of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN.
   
  Pastor Palmer has been senior pastor at: St. Mary's UMC in Crystal Springs, MS, Mt. Salem UMC in Terry, MS; Mt. Sinai, Gallatin and St. Morris UMCs in Hazleshurst, Vincent and Binford UMC in Grenada, MS and Pratt UMC in Jackson, MS.    

. . . . .She was associate pastor at Walnut Grove UMC in Walnut Grove, GA. Pastor Palmer has served the MS Conference on: The Board of Campus Ministry & Higher Education and The Board of Ordained Ministry. She has also served as mentor for those in the candidacy process. Presently she is a member of the School of Congregational Development.

    
         Pastor Palmer is married to Rev. Carl Palmer Jr., Curriculum Coordinator for the Quitman County School District. Together they have 9 children. Elizabeth, the youngest is now ten years old and she is now in fifth grade. The Revs. Palmer have 13 grandchildren.
