About United Women in Faith
Burns United Methodist Church is proud to have an active and vibrant United Women in Faith (UWFaith) unit that is deeply committed to spiritual growth, community engagement, and mission-driven service. Rooted in faith and fellowship, our UWFaith members are dedicated to putting love into action through hands-on ministry and meaningful partnerships.
The Burns UWFaith unit regularly participates in both District and Conference-level UWFaith events, cultivating relationships and learning opportunities that strengthen their collective witness. Locally, the unit supports impactful mission projects, including partnerships with Families Forward, a local nonprofit serving families in need.
Our Burns UWFaith unit also serves as a host for powerful spiritual and collaborative events. Recently, they hosted the Day Apart Spiritual Growth Day, a cherished opportunity for reflection and renewal. In a spirit of unity, they also organized a combined Unit meeting with Aldersgate United Women in Faith, fostering connection and shared purpose among our congregations.
From hosting mission events to supporting the church's broader ministry—such as volunteering during Vacation Bible School—our United Women in Faith lead with compassion, purpose, and a steadfast commitment to God’s call to serve.
